Unfortunately no community is safe from that irrational attacks of racism!
If you turn on your Hispanic TV networks , nowadays lots of Mexicans are
blaming Argentinian coach/ naturalized players on Football World Cup elimination!
Lots of them are demanding that non mexican born people are not allowed neither to coach nor to play for Mexico anymore!:eek:

Generalizations are dangerous, for your information it is not racism, the fear of foreigners is known as Xenophobia. Argentines are not that much different from persons from Mexico as to their ethnicity and racial composition. Secondly the views of a few angry callers should not get a country labelled for a social ill just as the minute men and some supremacist groups do not make the US predominantly racist. We're loosing the focus here, this is not about this country or that country its about the immigrant community and the challenges we collectively face.

To the best of my recollection, thousands of persons from Mexico are very much in line and suffer from retrogression just like everyone else. Please refer to any visa bulletin for details.

AFAIK all 485 filings have to be sent to NSC. Also, does one need to attach the original I-140 approval with I-485 or a copy of it will suffice?

One quick question - I do not have original 485 receipts with me but have scanned copies of them which my lawyer has emailed me. If I print them out and take them to the infopass, is that sufficient or do they ask for the original receipts?

True, like I still have a EDD letter talks about my first case for GC was filled on Aug. 2001 as wanted to immigrant but what is the use, as I have to file new one as even if I have transferred my employment to my parent companies client, USCIS has no rule to transfer labor process or priority dates until has approved i140, they requires to file new one which surly takes time. And I am sure mostly people completed even 10 years of working waiting for GC have the same issue.

I thinks EB3 INDIA will move between 9/11/2001 to JAN 2004 , because after 9/11 probably few people applied for GreenCrd because of market condition, even h1b quotas are not used for 2002 and 2003, i applied for h1b on 2004 April , no surprise the quota available because of market condition.
This could be dream. I have been waiting for last 4 Yrs to see my date to be current. It took 3 Yrs to move just 6 months. Mine is 12/2001(EB3-India). 2 more months..sorry 2 more years to wait...
I don't blame anyone. EB3 are less educated or less skilled than EB2. America wants Highly educated. They process EB2 first. Any leftovers Visas will be given to EB3 guys. Hence EB3 people have to face long waiting. This is my understanding of how they process EB3...

I have a question about Landing with Own car? Is there a way to get around importing it? I want to use my own car but don't want to pay import fee etc. Did they charge you anything? How much was it? What else to expect, do you think you will have to take it to Canada Tire etc. for Federal appointment etc?

Attached is the AC21 memo. Good luck. In my opinion, it clearly allows Self Employment.
Set up a LLC company or sole proprietorship and work with an attorney. Keep the paperwork tight and upto date. If permanent offer is hard to come by , you got to do what you got to do in a legal way :) All the best!

Hey guys
My PR card in Canada was not issued; they rejected the photos I submitted with the original application. Now they're asking I submit new ones in PERSON!
I will need to get a Canadian Travel document now to re-enter Canada now. Does anyone know how long it takes to get that issued?
Plus, Since I'm using AP as well the whole re-entering the US with the Canadian Visas in my passport is once again an issue. I'm considering giving up on the PR card, since I've technically already completed my landing; I can re-apply for the PR card if and when I decide to move to Canada permanently. Can you guys advise?

I suggest you not to go back for pictures - You can get your cards when you decide to move permanently. Till then , if you need to travel to Canada you can do so only by road ( your own or rental car ) by showing your passport and landing docs. If you want to use any airlines , you 'll have to apply for travel docs at the nearest consulate.
Rest assured, you can get your card when you finally decide to land. It 'll not be complicated. Just approach the CIC center and file for fresh PR Card with some attested documents.
